Who We Help
Sweet Home New Orleans serves the 4,500 musicians, Mardi Gras Indians and Social Aid & Pleasure Club members who make up New Orleans’ unique musical and cultural communities. Our musician clients range from older jazz legends who are trying to retrieve royalties owed from decades old recordings to young brass band players working on their first contracts.

Help From Switzerland
Robyn Tanner, a native New Orleanian who lives in Switzerland, and good friend Barbara Keller-Inhelder wanted to help this city after Katrina. They figured, what better way to help than to cook jambalaya at the local jazz festival, Blues ‘n Jazz Rapperswil! Thanks to their efforts over two years, they were able to raise $10,000 which they generously donated to Sweet Home New Orleans. We can’t begin to thank them enough, and would love to share their story with you here…
